Southern Rhone Valley is famous for its Reds, but the Whites can be just as compelling, as this example demonstrates. Planted at high altitude on clay-limestone soil, these Grenache Blanc vines produces wines of high minerality similar to the the ones from Macon, often exhibits highly individual  “wet-stone” minerality.
